Ted Reguly

Director, Growth and Technology Integration
San Diego Gas & Electric

Ted Reguly is Director, Growth and Technology Integration at San Diego Gas & Electric. He is responsible for overseeing SDG&E's growth in non-traditional utility areas, including energy storage, microgrids, distributed energy resources and other areas as they relate to SDG&E's leadership in clean, safe, reliable energy delivery. For the past four years Ted has also served as Director of Renewables Operations at Sempra Utilities, in which capacity he is responsible for the operations of Sempra US Gas and Power's renewable fleet.

Prior to his current position, Ted was Director of Transmission and Substation Operations at SDG&E, where he oversaw the construction and maintenance of the utility's transmission and substation facilities, including construction of capital and aging infrastructure projects in addition to maintenance for state and federal compliance standards. He has also held the position of director of Customer Programs and Assistance at SDG&E, responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and integration of comprehensive customer offerings related to energy efficiency, demand response and customer assistance.

Ted holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California State University-Long Beach, and an MBA in finance from San Diego State University.
